HISTORY:
Olivia was brought up by her mother in a small town called Floaroma. They were a small family, just her and her mom living in a small home but living, for the most part, all right. Olivia's mother still struggled bringing her up by herself on top of working two jobs just to keep them a hairline above poor middle class. It was tough for Olivia not getting to see her mother as much as she should have. So one of neighbors suggested to her mother Olivia do something constructive and fun and active while she worked during the day. It would save a fortune on babysitters and daycare centers. A few ideas like joining a girl scout group, signing up for a sports team came up but Olivia didn't want to sell cookies and she didn't like sports. It wasn't until a visit to the Hearthome City that her mother considered signing her up to be a participant in the contests and eventually the battles once she was strong enough. It would keep Olivia busy and her mother was under the impression beauty contests would be a good influence. As well as something to put on the record should olivia ever want to attend college.

They started her out in the novice class and at first it was all fun and laid back. Then they got down to business grooming her and molding her to be a legitimate beauty contest contestant. Pretty soon afterwards the subject of beauty was all she was taught to focus on. So much so that she was too tired to do the things normal little girls should have been doing. Her mother didn't think anything of it since she was also tired from working so much and often the signs that Olivia was very unhappy would fly over her head. Her coach and trainer used this to her advantage at that time to convince Olivia's mother that it would be better for her to just accept an apprenticeship and start working to become a full time contestant. She had lots of potential and with strict training sessions, she could become one of the best. Olivia's mother agreed and the trainer took Olivia under her wing. That's when things took a downhill.

They went from town to town participating in as many contests as they could and each contest she won had a negative impact on her personality. Being raised on shallow values gave her a shallow view of the world and a very bratty and stuck up personality as she got older and overconfident in herself. She forget that contests were supposed to be fun and let herself get carried away by with over-competiveness. She was taught contests weren't about being happy or having fun. It was about winning, because winning was the only thing that mattered in life. That people only cared about what was on the outside. Right on the skin. She developed into quite a self entitled snob because of this philosophy brain washed into her at an early age.

Eventually her overconfidence would be her downfall during one battle when she was put up against an absol. She had figure, beauty and more importantly experience in the battle arena. Olivia, still being a young glameow, didn't really stand a chance. She was determined but it seemed like the more she tried the more points she lost from her general score. Knowing her trainer would absolutely not tolerate failure, she focused all her energy and ended up evolving into a purugly prematurely. It gave her a small edge but ultimately she still wound up losing because of the number of points deducted. Needless to say her trainer was not pleased by this turn of events. Shortly afterwards, she told Olivia she didn't want or need her because she was too fat now and she didn't want to enter contests with a pokemon that had the word 'ugly' in the name. It didn't look good. She was cast aside for the next younger and prettier face. Basically left on her own to her own devices.

At first the seriousness of the situation didn't sick in. She was still young and hoped her trainer would come back. It didn't happen and she had to accept she had been abandoned. She tried to live on her own but she had no skills, no real job experience. No one would really hire her so she basically became homeless for a few months before a traveling skunktank took pity on her and took her under his wing. It was tough but he taught her some self-reliance and they ended up traveling together for a few years before Olivia wanted to settle down. Samson wanted to travel still so he dropped her off close to Pokette town and wished her the best of luck starting a life there. She stuck around for two years living quite happily before she took off again but this time to pursue some education and gain a job as an image consultant. She's back again, and looking to settle down in Pokette town once again.

EXTRAS:
- She loves to sing at karaoke places / bars and works part time at one just for the discounts on drinks
- She loves to shop around for a good sale and can't resist buying a few things whenever she spots a sale.

- She still doesn't like getting dirty but isn't afraid of dirt or anything. It's just a major pain to wash out
- She hasn't step foot in a contest hall since that day she got the boot
- She enjoys being pampered occasionally but has grown to appreciate the little things in life
- She's a lot more mellow now than she was in her glameow days
- She still keeps in contact with her skuntank friend but mostly through letters
- She's a little vain about her appearance but solely because of a desire to prove people wrong about the misconception of all puruglies being..ugly.
- Vain =/= full of herself. She doesn't force her opinion on appearances on anyone who doesn't want it or feels content on how they already look. But if they want a tip, she's happy to help out.
